Tracy Vonder Brink is a freelance writer and author of more than 60 science and nonfiction articles for kids. She is a contributing editor at Click, ASK and Muse magazines and regularly writes science books for schools and libraries. In 2020, she was honored to be the recipient of the AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Gold Award in the Children’s Science News category. She’s always curious about the stories behind science and nature and enjoys talking to scientists about their work. Most days, she can be found looking up intriguing facts for her next article. Tracy lives in southern Ohio with her husband, two daughters and two very happy rescue dogs.
